That Hofftitz name brings back memories. They had stores in NY with more knives than a toy store stocked Legos. If I remember correctly they had a super sized animated SAK in the window.

Blade pull ranges from 2 or so to 10 for some of the smaller ones with almost no nail nicks. I don't know if I could open some of them with just my fingers in an emergency situation.
