Thanks Z51!

This is a great knife with a balance that I really like and it is SHARP!!!

I figured while I was at it I would TRY to photoshop my pic. Before and after. Which one looks better??? I know there are some PS PROS on here.

Anyhow, does anyone know where to get a sheath without sending the knife away?

Thanks everyone:)

Great shots and great score.

Probably have to send that one in being its a Custom Shop.

Okay, well Chuck is my go to guy for anything leather so I guess I will be in touch with him.

I was just thinking if there was something to get me by while I saved for that.

Wonderful pictures and great score:thumbup:

Thank you so much for sharing:)

Nice score, richstag! As for a sheath, being that it's a fairly rare variant with fat hand shaped handles, I'd recommend sending it for a proper fitting. Short of that, maybe one of the leather or kydex makers has one...? Can't hurt to try calling to ask 'em. :)

Z51 is the man!! Check out savage leather sheaths. He claims he can make sheaths with just a few pictures and measurements. The stuff on his site looks decent.

Yeah, I think I mentioned something about who got the other one in your thread:D

Nice knife you got there. I almost went for that one:)

richstag, by all means go with chuddy bear, and send it to him unless he has the exact knife, i agree totally with jaxx, he knows what he is talking about , chuck does excellent work and you will not be disappointed.

outstanding score

Thanks bud and I agree, Chuck makes incredible sheaths IMO.

Here are a just a couple:

My FBMLE Danger of Chuck's is my favorite but I don't have any pics.

For kydex I go with Mashed Cat heres one:

Trust me I know Jaxx speaks the truth:)

Mine came to me with a Mtn. Mike sheath. You could ask morimotom if he had to send the knife to Mike.

Congrats on a great looking SHSH Variant!!!
I've always been tempted for one of thise clip points. :)

which photo... I like the first one better. I think the auto adjust in PS takes the contrast way to high. I only use that feature when the colors look more accurate if applied.

But, it's a visual thing and very subjective... so others may like the 2nd pic better.

Congrats again on a cool straight handle!

.

Thanks for the help guys!

I am using Capture NX for this pic and I did the contrast/brightness and sharpening myself:o I agree, I think I went overboard, but I have no experience with it. I find it hard looking at your own photos that you just took. I have photoshop but it is the free elements and I just play around with that also. Thanks for your honesty, that is what I am looking for:)

I usually like how my camera produces pics with the parameters I set in the picture control. I don't know what I am doing really, just having fun with it.

I think somewhere in between would probably be ideal.

Here are the grips I was trying to match with this one. It is hard to get a pic that shows the green in them, but in person they match up to the SHSH pretty well.
