So, I'm a little late to the game. I just recently found out that in Indiana, autos are now legal to carry and own. I immediately went out searching for a Spyderco Embassy. I was just randomly looking through the autos section on BF, and I found one for sale. It was exactly the model I was looking for, and the price was more than fair. I bought it, and when it arrived, I was slightly thrown off by the packaging. It wasn't what I expected as I have a lot of other Spydercos, and their boxes are all very similar. The packaging just felt off, and it bothered my OCD. After holding the knife, and opening it a few times, and looking for anything that might seem off, nothing caught my untrained eye. In my head I chalked it up to... maybe it was a very early production model, and they changed the packaging afterward, or maybe this is just the packaging Spyderco uses for their automatic knives, I wouldn't know since I've never previously owned one. That was around 4 weeks ago. Fast forward to today, I get online and see another Embassy for sale. The picture shows the standard Spyderco packaging, not this flimsy blue box with a sticker that I got. Now it's bugging me, and I would like a second opinion. The pictures were removed from the original thread, but I found that the user has a website, where the knife is still listed for sale, with the original pictures that were in the thread, minus the pictures including the packaging.
