How many of you prefer the standard Sebenza version without any mods? No silver/double lugs. No polished blade. No, micarta/wood/etc inlays.

Just the basics...

Who likes 'em the most? Who thinks they're the best user?

really love the small regular,i've had for about 7 yrs, great patina on it . but really thinking about a small micarta.i hear it has a great feel and gripablity.....

I'm a fan of graphics and such. But those are my non-users, if I was going to actually use one, it'd likely be a basic version.

I have been carrying a large plain Regular Sebenza everyday since discovering CRK.

For me, it is the perfect user.

I have both and use both. I may stop carrying some fancy wood when my Micarta order arrives though. Unless I am you know, trying to show off and then look out, here comes the bling! They are tools and I do not want a tool I will never use. An eight hundred dollar letter opener you say? Well, yes, why not. It keeps me out of bars.

Honestly, most of the graphics are MEH. But some of them are full of WOW. Something I really like, someone else may go yuck at. Choices are good.

I've been carrying my small standard for over five years now. Two years ago I went ahead and got a damascus blade for it. By far this is the best carry knife ever. Small enough in the pocket, big enough in the hand, next to no maintenance . . . I have an inlaid and a large but that simple small Sebbie is my carry blade unless I'm in slacks (A Mnandi then).

Elegant simplicity that shows years of design and only incremental changes. They'll only get it from my cold, dead hands.

I started with the plain jane models - but ended up selling them both for a graphics and a wood inlay model.

Not that there is anything wrong with them - I just prefer a little more makeup on mine.

I have the plain models simply because I use them and actually like the look of a well used and broken in plain model. I have thought about a micarta version from time to time but that goes away before I pull the trigger on one. Would never buy a decorated model because I may be afraid to use it. The true beauty of a CRK is to actually use it hard.

While I like some of the decorated models, I've only owned plain-Jane Sebs. Simplicity is where it's at for me.

I prefer graphics myself. Don't really like the various inlays. But that nice flat scale is just begging for something to go on it. Once I discovered CRK will do custom graphics I'm constantly coming up with new ideas of what I'd like on my seb. Next one will be an E-3 AWACS, not sure how much detail they'll be able to get but it'll be cool.
I have one damascus blade, probably won't get another. It's very nice, glad I got the one, but not what I need for a user.

I've had one graphic lg reg & one ebony lg classic. ... & two Mnandis. I definitely prefer simple Ti scales. I will probably pick up a sm 21 w wood or micarta. It's the only flavor Seb I've not owned so far.

Plane Jane for me. I love the way inlays look, but I know I wouldn't really use one too hard. I feel the simple ones detract less from how well the knife feels and performs.
