I've had my XM-18's for a few weeks now, and I'm very impressed with the knives themselves. However, there is something more to these knives.....a personality, so to speak. These knives want to be used. I don't know how well the other finishes hold up, but the stonewashed finish is fantastic. The ergos are the best, edge holds up well, solid as a rock, and just begging "put me in Coach!"
I was doing a little remodel work today, and was already well into the job before I realized what I was doing. Most other knives in this price category are hard for me to use, but from day 1 both of my hinderers jumped into my pockets ready to work. The scales have gotten a little dirty, but the blade and lock side look like the day I took it out of the bag.
By far my most expensive, and beloved, putty knife:
Hats off to Rick, and crew, for some amazing tools!
