and i have to say, it was very simple to put back together. I haven't disassembled & cleaned it since i bought it, 3 or 4 years ago. Went back together simply and now works amazingly. I took it apart for three reasons. One, it was sticking and not smooth anymore so i decided to clean everything up and get excess oil out of it. I was bored & also to vent haha. I work on my knives when im stressed or upset. Anyways, it's smooth as butter now. Loc tited everything and got the pivot right to its sweet spot. Now, if i ever have to, i can disassemble it knowing it wont be a chore. I've had my eye on the fixed blade version, looks like a good hunting/fishing knife because theres nothing to it besides two pieces of the handle and a blade. Very simple yet effective.

Love my Griptilian. I reprofiled the blade, and screwed up the bevel on the tip somewhat, but I do not care, my thinner primary bevel makes it so much easier to touch up. I am proud of that knife, it is not afraid to work! I have no reason to take mine apart, it is operating fine, and it even has volcanic pumice in it from Mammoth Lakes CA. However, that is good to know that it is simple. I have loctite too, so good to go on that.
