Hello All,

Been lurking the busskin boards for a little while. Just took the plunge on the crash axe and 4" HC at the company store.

I'm really looking forward to playing with the axe.

I'm so excited. Now the wait begins.

Looking forward to contributing to the board.

Congrats on the new Rats headed your way. You'll like them both.

It's a little strange that Swamp Rat has so many knives for sale and none are SR-101. Actually, the steel choices are good ones for the intended purposes of the blades. I just like SR-101. :thumbup:
 
1 post since 2002? And I thought I had the fewest posts of anyone who registered that long ago :) . Congrats, triplem :thumbup: . I too picked up a CA and HC, but in 3.5 (going to a friend who says he does not need the extra steel :( ).

Ha! Good eye AdamLau - didn't realize I joined so long ago - guess I lurked off and on over the years and probably registered when the search function worked for non-members.

Okay since I'm new to this madness I have a question or two. I am still a little hazy on the transcation process (across the Busse family of company some orders are available for immediate shipment and some they actually make the knife upon order which can take weeks). I just ordered July 25 from the SR store. When can I actually expect to receive my new toys? A few days, few weeks or ?? What is the usual when ordering from the company store on things they just post as available to order?

I don't know about Scrap yard, seems like the last one I ordered took a couple of weeks, but knives I ordered from Swamp Rat (that show as available) usually arrive in a few days. Hopefully the Crash Axe Iordered this morning will be the same. I need to smash something!!

My order shipped today w/ a USPS Delivery Confirmation number. Expect a week at most, sooner if the orders are shipped via Priority Mail :) .
