Hey guys, just tried to upgrade to Knifemaker status, punched in all my info, and immediately got an address mismatch error, no big surprised, I've moved like 10 times in the past couple of years, and I can never keep track of which addy is on my card. Started trying to re-do the process, and got a ping from paypal saying my account had been billed.

Can anybody verify or deny whether the transaction went through? The funds are removed from my account, but obviously I know that doesn't always mean anything.

Thanks! =\

FYI I paid with the card service (using my paypal debit card) because I didn't see any method to pay thru paypal directly.

PayPal has temporarily frozen that amount in your account but the money is still yours and you will regain access shortly.

This is a good time to do a little security work on all your accounts. Write down each account name and number. Note the phone / email / postal address for info or queries or complaints. Make sure all info in your profile is current.

If your cards are ever stolen, you will have a current master list to contact and warn them.

Thanks Esav. It's not really that complex, but the suggestion is appreciated. I don't bank enough to have to worry about stolen cards believe me, paypal is simply an occupational hazard. Unfortunately, it requires a phone call to change the card's address, regardless of your addresses linked to your PP account.

If you got the avs error, paypal has put a hold on the money, but we haven't gotten it. you need to use your proper billing address to get it to go through

Is there any way to pay directly with paypal? The transaction is still "Pending" in PP.

Sure, use the paypal link at the top of the Paid Subscriptions screen

Wow, that link was very well concealed. I did however find it eventually. Thanks Spark and Esav. Payment made via pp.
