By the way I still enjoy my large curvy knives VERY much....

Good to hear from you Sarge!!!!
You are keeping it covered well I hope?!?!?!?:)

How are you and the khuk getting along? Is it seeing a lot of use or is it just mostly hanging on your gear?;)

Yvsa,we're getting along very fine, thank's for asking.

I decided to let my very beatiful BAS remain a very beautiful knife and got myself a brutal brother of the Chiruwa style Ang Khola, from GH.I got this "brute" with a impressive kydex-sheat which won't make my hart break:( when it gets scratched or dirty.

So now I find myself with one exampele of Nepalese craftmanship which I show when I want to impress somebody with beauty and power:), and one examle of Nepalese craftmanship which I show when I want to scare people with brutality and power:D.

Bill,I used my khuk's when we were building hidden observation posts and cleared fields of fire. Nothing beats the khuk when cutting down vegetation which is an inch or two i diameter or clear the branches from a small tree to make a pole. I've also used it when my girlfriend and I was gathering chanterelle mushroom.(I cut the mushroom to leave the roots). The angled blade makes it easier to see where to cut.
