After having my Izula now for almost 9 months I finally got a chance to batton with it. I can't believe how well it worked for such a small knife. I wanted to get away with the girlfriend for a few days so we rented a cabin in the woods. The fireplace was to small for some of the pieces, so I battoned them & broke them in half. Worked great. When it starts to warm up we will get out backpacking again. I use this thing every day & the finish is wearing thin. I allways see izula's on here with a perfect finsh. I allways thought the finish was indestruclable...Little did I know. LOL. Thanks ESSE, It was hard saying that. Almost like puting 2009 on papers rather than 2010

Yep! I would realy like to buy another Rat...I meen ESEE, but I just can't justify it. It works & replaced all my other knives, its my EDC, and if it ever breaks, they will give me a new one. Why get another one... On the other hand, as soon as my Cold Steel Kukri breaks, I'm gettin me one of them machetes
