Until today, I have only seen Becker knives online. A stop at a local outdoor sports shop changed that. I noticed a fairly large display of Ka-Bar products and thought, "Dare I hope?" And there it was, a BK7. The clerk placed it into my greedy hands, where to my joy I discovered I really liked the ergo's of the grip (I wasn't sure I would). I had myself convinced that I would only need a 2 and a 9, but after today, I hear the 7 calling out to me to make it a perfect trio....

I was fumbling in the dark... Then I went CRAZY and ordered a BK 2 since I loved my BK 14.. And like You, I really liked the handle!! And the way the whole knife felt...

The handles are one of the beauties of Becker.
Lots of folks ask me about my Camillus micarta knives, but honestly...
I think the Ka-Bar micarta is superior because it mimics the shape of the original Grivory scales, which are top-notch to begin with.

I ordered the 9 and 7 without ever getting to second base with either one of them. Very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. I'm starting to think some these people know what they're talking about.

I was actually almost looking forward to the fact that the first time I would hold a Becker would be when I pulled it out of the box it was shipped to me in. Then I saw the BK7 today, and couldn't resist holding it. Around here, most stores only stock Buck and Gerber knives. Although I am a fan of Buck, variety is nice
I still think the BK9 is going to steal my Becker virginity. I have a lot of scrub trees in the back that are crying out for it. But the 2 and, now, the 7 won't be far behind.
