Stockmans,Wranglers,Harness Knives,Cattle Knives or what?

I was going to post 'em in the Who carries a Stockman thread, but wasn't sure they belong in the stockman group.
I believe they are considered stockmans, but I've seen them called by the above names also.

Any insight would be appreciated and of course pics of yours would be nice too.

Thanks in advance.:)

The one on the left with black scales is a stockman for certain. I believe (don't quote me ) the pointy blade was a "hoof pick" or tool of some sort, the "spey" ( spay? ) blade was for just that task ( grab em and wince, lol ) and then the big standard clip blade was for all around use. I've seen the others referred to in various sales publications as "swayback stockmans" also in addition to all of the description you've mentioned.

Shoot,I should have done a search first,I found this thread from just a couple of months back.
Sorry folks.:o
It seems they are in fact stockman's,serpentines at that.

More pics wouldn't hurt though.;)

And kaotikross, the end tools are leather punches.:)

Looks like what I've known as 'punch stockman'. The inclusion/substitution of the punch blade makes it so; I think some stockman variations have 4-blades, including the punch, plus the other 'standard' stockman blades (clip, spey, sheepsfoot). :)

Case designates one of their '47 pattern stockman knives as '6347 PU', which is a stockman (3-blade) with the punch substituted for the sheepsfoot (clip, spey blades at one end, punch at the other). They also currently offer the 'medium stockman w/punch' in the '18 pattern (6318 PU), which substitutes the punch for the spey blade (clip, sheepsfoot at one end, punch at the other; see pic below).

The 36OT is just like the Schrade knife on the far left. Schrade called that Old Timer the "Saddleman." Here's an unusual variation with green handles and brass bolsters.

Still, it's just a medium stockman with a punch. ;)
