Y'know how those people talk about closure on those prime time news programs? About how they have entered a new phase in life?

Well, I don't either. Cstorr2004 sold me a Camp Tramp, and it arrived yesterday. The knife is definitely worth the wait. I can't wait to take it out in the woods and go to town.

But, I swear, that M6 is calling to me, now I want a Howling Rat etc. I thought that the holy trinity for me would be the Battle Rat, Camp Tramp and Bog Dog. I can't stop!

Anyway, the CT looks like it is a perfect camp knife. Maybe a little too big to carry on your belt, might do better fixed to a backpack. Anyway, thanks again cstorr.

Oh yeah, sterile? WGAF? This knife is not going to be a safe queen, she'll earn her room and board!

Congrats on the Camp Tramp (you will love it)!
The CT is one of my most favorite blades!

My Swamp Trinity is:
My Battle Rat
My Camp Tramp
and my Howling Rat
(all in res-c)
I bought my dad a ratweiler, and my muddy one should be here any day now.:D

Congrats!

Once the ball starts rolling, the rationalizations start flying, and then you'll end up with a heaping pile of wauseon goodness . . . not that there's anything wrong with that. . . :D

CongRATS on the Camp Tramp, SHS!! The CT is definitely one of the best blades around. Pics are a must. ;)

I thought that I needed a CT, but that was before I crossed paths with a RW, and now I am not so sure..

And once you've tried a Howler you're bound to want to try a Bandicoot, no?

Nope. Not me. After owning a Howler for several months, I've never once got the cravings for a Bandicoot.

.

Eric, where are those Bandicoot LM's?? :D

There are a lot of great Swamp Rats to buy.

Finding them is often the hard part.

I think they are rarer in the secondary markets (Exchange, Ebay, shows, ect.) than knives from the "other knife company."

A Meaner Street LE and A Heavy Duty started me down the path....then I found the Rats...and It was a Camp Tramp...my most used and loved knife. I have the HR and the Bandicoot and love them both equally...They are my camping knives.....I love the Rats I guess. peace, John
