Well I haven't bought an ESEE in probably a year and sold off most of my Rat Cutlery blades - I got heavily into the Busse bug and spent a small fortune building a respectable collection. With that said, even with 10+ Busses, I still always grabbed my RC3mil first and it's my constant companion who's only competition is my Fehrman Peacemaker. I think it is one if the greatest user knife designs of all time - it's just perfect. I've been reassessing the type of knife that I really need (not want) and a lot of my blades are just simply overkill for my uses and I've been thinning my hog herd... (please please please don't turn this into a Busse bashing or flaming thread - they are fantastic knives, infi is an AMAZING Steel, they have a place and I'll be keeping a few) - I just don't know if I've ever, or will ever, be in a situation where I need THAT much knife...

ANYWAY, I'v been lurking on this subforum more than usual over the past few weeks and I guess I got mesmerized by a great pic SemperParatus (i think thats his handle??) posted of his green/orange rc4 and green izzie and having just given my izula away to a close friend, I needed a fix...

So I'm happy to say I've ordered my first two ESEEs since my last purchase over a year ago - the green/orange 4 and a new izula in matching green - AND THEY ARRIVED TODAY!!! So I guess in what has become true ESEE forum form, I had to post about it :D

Edit: had to add that New Graham Knives came through as usual with the lowest prices around (even with shipping) and lightning fast shipping - not to mention awesome customer service - highly recommend buying your ESEEs from them - they don't get enough props around here.

So Im bitten by the bug and in love w the 4 all over again and I can't believe I ever sold my 4s and 6s (had two of each)... :D

Anyways, big thanks to the ESEE guys for making such a quality product!

Obligatory pics to come tonight - on a train heading to salvation (outta NYC and into the country :))

I had that same orange G10 ESEE-4 but gave it to my dad.

Honestly, I miss it!

So I'm in the same boat... gotta replace it soon!

You are a good son!

ESEE really do make good gifting blades - especially the Izula - I've given more ESEEs away than any other make by far...

I have an izula and a RC3, the RC3 is a great blade and I carry the izula every day. its replaced my old benchmade folder as EDC, can you take a pic of the blade width difference on the RC 3 and 4?

[Edit] I ment a picture of the spines

Of all the blades in my modest collection, my ESEE3-MIL is also my go to fixed-blade. The ESEE guys make knives to be used. I have to admit that I've bought a few knives, simply because I like the design, or what steel they're made of, but I bought my ESEE/RC knives to use them.
