.....another one pops up! Let me explain the situation and see if it has ever happened to you.

I've been selling off all my knives and have only kept one to be my edc. This one is the JWS large Evolution framelock. Also kept a Case Sowbelly that is also an edc.

What has happened is this; My closet where I stored all my knives apparently "ate" one of them:eek:  . A BM 710HS was found only a couple hours ago in its box and in NIB condition!:D :D I vaguely remember having this knife but as I was selling everything out I sorta lost track of it and assumed I had sold it. Well as it turns out I didn't. Bottom of my closet is sorta messy with a big 'ole quilt stored in the floor in the corner. Seems the box with knife in it fell onto this quilt and slid behind it.

So now it appears that I have a 710HS to add to the daily carry. :D :)

How about it.........this ever happened to anyone else??

Ok, what the heck is going on here? Art, I open this thread and read that you are selling of just about all your knives. You do know that this is the opposite of how thingd are supposed to work around this place, right? Just so long as we have that straight.

By the way, no I have never had that happen to me.

Have I ever just happened to find a really awesome knife that I would love to have lying on the floor in my closet? Nope, can't say as I have, you lucky dog. :p

I've had that happen with guns. Digging in the safe and.. what? where? Oh, I traded it for a... OK (put back in safe).

Art, i once heard and old saying that when you find a knife in a closet, you're supposed to send it to a fellow forumite, with a nickname starting with the same letter as yours....:p :D

..off to dig in my OWN closet.. gotta be something good in there...!

Sucks being obsessive/compulsive...... there's never anything lying around I don't know about.

Keith, on the chance you look back at this thread, who makes the knife in you avatar? I'd appreciate some info on it (steel, grind, handle material, type sheath, price range). It's the knife design I've been looking for, if the blade is 5 inches or longer (hard to tell from a pic, but it looks like it is). Thanks.

Keith, duh!, just noticed your signature naming Bailey Bradshaw as the maker of your avatar knife (you've probably been asked that question a lot?). I'll punch that into google and see what I can find (I fear it's out of my price range).
