I was at the Practical Edged Seminar and I believe Mr. Ajax is completely legitimate. His training was awesome. Simple. Brutal. Efficient. I was just wondering which unit he served in? SEAL? Delta? Ranger? Marine Recon? Are you even allowed to tell us? I was just curious.

I dunno, probably a Marine with Recon of some sort.
Speaking of Marines, happy 226th to all the Devil Dogs tomorrow!!! Time to go on a moto run.

anonymity is sometimes best let as is for certain folks.

humility is also often the mark of a gentleman and true warrior.

let's give Mike the benefit of quiet privacy. i think his actions speak much louder and certainly more to the point. ;)

For what its worth, I very recently heard from an unimpeachible source who was with the Rhodesian SAS in the salient timeframe. No one with "Ajax's" real name ever served in the RSAS or Selous Scouts. He may have served elsewhere and chooses not to say, but it wasn't there.

Actually, I heard from someone that heard.....he's a pastry chef. That explains his familiarity with knives. Although, he's not very good at it. Cooking, that is.

Sorry if I wasn't that specific: Norman Stockton, Secretary of the Rhodesian SAS Association is the source. Ron Reid-Daly, founding Colonel of Rhodesia's Selous Scouts, does not recognize him either. Email me offline if you'd like greater detail, or his email address to verify it yourself.

As I said, I'm not questioning anyone's competance or experience, just that one specific claim of bona fides doesn't bear scrutiny.

Hi Mick -

"Who cares" Good question!

Only two groups of people: The Rhodesian SAS Association, who know that the individual who goes by the nom de guerre 'Ajax' is not one of them; and, those folks whose belief in loyalty (faithful alligience) and honor (integrity) is incompatible with representing service in an elite group incorrectly.

jbravo,
Are you retarded?
Mike is several times removed from his actual name.
Therefore, it would be difficult to know where he served. No matter who you ask.
This is like the Special Olympics.

The US Department Of Defense uses him quite a lot in training.
I wonder if they bothered to check him out or if they just took his word for it.

Maybe you could call up the USMC and see if YOU could go teach a class to Force.
Im sure they would let you. Just tell em your former RSAS. Im sure they will believe you.

I see you sign your post S/F. Are you a Marine? Have you taken a class from Mike?
How does this effect you? It has no bearing on your life. If Mike said he had a 10 inch dick would you check?

Be careful hunting Witches. Sometimes you find one.

Mick

Mike makes no claims to his past. All claims about Mike and his past are hear/say
