Just Wondering.....

I like the look, I think it would be a good camp knife. Maybe just advertise it more.

I like the look of it also. And the Osage handles are icing on the cake.

Only reason I haven't ordered one is my Tool fills the purposes of that model at the moment.

But don't be discouraged, 2016 has a lot of room for more JK's ! :D

My phone loads the mobile site, which goes straight to your home page. I can't see the model in which you are speaking of.

for a hard use camp knife i think it should have a more pronounced finger guard [so you don't slide up onto the edge], maybe jimping on the spine, other than that i like the pattern.
but then again, what do i know ?

it's not a style that I prefer on my part, I'm not a big fan of clip blades and I the handle looks chunky to me in the picture, I have long but not necesarily large hands, some of the kephart type handle designs don't feel as comfortabel to me.

does the knife sweep up from tip to the base of the handle? like a convex line.

I fell in love with the Personal Camp Knife when I first saw the pic,(borrowed from rdrogers) and will get one when the time is right.

I think it's a great looking knife. I'd just a little close, in specs, to the Camp & Trail I own to justify it. To many other niches to fill in my JK line up.

I was moments away from ordering a Personal Camp--love the lines--when you diverted my attention with the new Mud Turtle. I foresee a PCK in my future as well.

It needs a video where some one hacks up a side of beef, cuts up some rope, stabs a car hood, ect. Or, cerakote the blade in Zombie green!
In all seriousness, I thinks it lacks in curves. try to ever so slightly, concave radiusing that clip.

I far prefer the ViKtim's design to the PCK - and I agree with others comments about the need for a finger guard or finger groove and also not a clip fan.

It seems that there are a few options in this size range. Primarily due to that there will be an ebb and flow in regards to what is ordered.

When someone sees a Hatchling with a nice scale combo, this model drops off the radar, same with the camp & trail or ViKtim.

In regards to why i havent ordered one yet, now that I have my CBK, I would prefer to fill another knife slot than buy a redundant sized knife to fight for Pocket space, unless I had a particular size that I preferred for edc and bought those to rotate.

I think it is a Great looking knife, and would fit in along side a Nessmuck, CBK, and Kephart as general use/camp carry/utility knives.
Take your pick, they fill a similar role with slight leanings towards one thing or another, be it cleaning game (CBK) skinning/Gen use (Nessmuck) to general use (Kephart). They are all right there, but the subtle nuances of each knife stand out when put in their respective element and tried in others.
