Way better.... Very first picture with lightbox, total cost 50 dollars including lights. Camera set on auto, held in my hand.

With enough diffused light even a retard can take a decent picture.

Can you maybe elaborate on what all your components were? I take crappy pics, and maybe something like that would help (or take some blame...)

Sure five 6 dollar flood lights from walmart with 100 watt 6500k floresent balbs
Any camera Bed sheet and something to hold it up. Some green felt on the bottom. Thats it. Camera set to auto. LOL

Are the pictures perfect? Hell no. But seriously this is dead simple to do.
 
Here is the current state of the lightbox. Its so well setup now I just drop what ever in and click the picture. I can take a decent picture in less than a minuet from sitting down. Now I need to learn to take GREAT pictures.

for what its worth , i was told if you use a lightbox .... to put your camera on the outdoor (sunlight, sun symbol thingie) mode with no flash.....

i just bought a lightbox this morning and am gonna play now...pics to come!
