Hello,

I was just wondering when are those knives going to be released and will there be a satin finish?

Regarding the ionbond coating that you guys use, is that similar to a DLC or PVD coating?

Thanks

The Justin Gingrich knives will be ready soon. It should be at the end of next week. We will be posting them for sale on our website when they are available. The first run is all coated in flat black ionbond. We plan to produce some uncoated versions in the near future. These will most likely have a stone washed finish.

Yes ionbond is a DLC / PVD type coating. It is popular in the firearms industry and has been used by some knife makers. We use it because it is by far the most durable coating we have found and it has a great looking finish.

Please let us know if you have any more questions.

What's the spec. On the largest one? I'm very interested on that and is there a way to make the coating in flat dark earth?
