Justin Gingrich?

Have any of you owned a knife made by Justin Gingrich? If so would you recommend it to a fellow knife fan?

My only experience with him, is when owned Ranger Knives, and he custom made made a 4 inch fixed blade. That is about it. I still have it. It is a good knife, not great, but good. It is was truck knife, now it is my car knife. I hope this helps.

I have a Gingrich made Ranger Rd9, it is pretty old now . The handles are large and kinda blocky but mostly that makes it customizable to your hand. The edge was thick and the grinds were rough under the coating it is a tank of a knife. The Ranger knives were meant to be rough use knives for even rougher men so I don't think they are a good example of his overall work.

Agreed. I got the one he made for me relatively inexpensive.

I like his work. If you can get an original RD6 in 3/16" 5160, don't hesitate....
