Just some quick feedback on this knife. First, here is the link to the sale thread, has some more pictures:
http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...SOLD-Shorty-Monster-chopper-5160-OD-green-G10
Specs:
Specs:
11" overall, @.360" thick, 6" long x 1-7/8" wide blade
OD green G10 scales with black G10 spacers
Assembled w/ West Systems G/flex epoxy and flared
stainless tubes
.080" OD green Kydex sheath is Tek-Lok/Molle Lok compatible
Fit an finish are exceptional. Flat grinds are perfect, handle is very comfortable. The knife is heavy, but the balance is excellent. Performance wise, I have never had a knife that was this compact that chopped this well. Cuts like a camp axe in a very small package. Perfect for my intended use which is a wood gathering tool to keep in my van or teardrop camper trailer.
Shipping was fast and the LE/Military discount didn't hurt my feelings either.
Justin King is a knife maker I would recommend.
