jute cord wrapping a handle??

I wanna jute wrap a neck knife I have with jute, but I have no idea how. What's the best method for wrapping and sealing it?

So this is a stale post but i'll give it a shot. Whenever i cord wrap a handle, i make it up as i go. I suggest just playing around with wrapping. Once you get the basic idea down, it goes pretty smoothly. Not sure how jute will hold up, even if sealed. It frays a lot on its own. For sealing, some people use an epoxy of some sort, but i have no experience with that. The only sealing i have tried is coating the handle in shellac, then after wrapping, a quick dip mineral spirits to reactivate is and seal the wrap to the handle. Did ok but that may be more me than the technique. I forgot where i learned that from though.
