Here is the newest one by J.W. Smith. It has a 4" S30V blade that is .160" thick. The titanium handles are .125" thick. The overlays are carbon fiber and as holey as they come!!

I haven't gotten it yet................but it is just a matter of time!:D :D  :)

Here is another pic looking down on it from the top. Notice that nice thick stainless backspacer? The cf overlays round out the handle and give a good grip on the knife.

What did you get Sam? I'm like you and couldn't wait and told John to get it ready that I would be sending him a little something in the mail!!

Mine should look just about like the one in the pics. I had told JW when he got around to making a 4" frame lock that I wanted one.

Don't worry Art, he made more than one. :)

It arrived. Will try to get some pics up as soon as I take some. This is one more sweet knife. I do believe it is John's best effort to date on a framelock!:D  :)

WOW AP that one is sweet also! Comeon spill the beans and tell us something about it.:D :D :D

Well, it's got the flipper. I'm not the flipper type, but I like it more as a finger guard (not that it's really all that necessary, it's just me). I know that I've said this before, but this is the keeper of all keeper custom user knife. An ADV/Pirela is my custom hopefully not to use knife (although this as a defensive knife would work quite well - for me).
The framelock is rock solid and the whole knife is extremely sturdy. It's just got a real good ****** feel to it. My tape measure ran off, but I think it's a 3 1/2 incher. It's a nice size and the handle is very ergonomic. Sits nicely clipped onto the right rear pocket without anything catching.
I had a JWS Knife that I let go during hard times, but this makes up for it. It arrived today and is symbolic for several reasons. We're all very blessed to be here except my son was having a hard time for a few minutes at the Barney Show yesterday.

Very Nice!! I've got a picture just like that of me the day I listed all the J.W. Smiths I had for sale! :D He does look quite upset about something..........could it be you wouldn't let him carry the new Smith? LOL:D :D :D :D

Of course I let him hold the knife. He had a minor cold, was tired and couldn't figure out what was up with a real life Barney. We changed a diaper, got a pretzel and enjoyed the rest of the show.

Ahhh........sounds like heaven to me! You know, the diaper and the pretzel. It always puts me in a good mood! ;) :)
