 WoW! That is one classy folder. I'll be that one wasn't cheap.

I think I'm in love all over again! I love that scimitar blade style. What kind of specs on that pretty thang!

Thanks guys!

I showed this to the sous chef (in the past 6 years he's seen *several* knives :) ) and he said it is probably the most attractive knife yet! Gary Shaw said he gave the specs to JW for this knife as a 'one-off', he just took delivery of it the morning of the Chesapeake show (yesterday). Saw it, had to have it!

Don't have steel specs, going to have to call JW and get the skinny. Other than that:
4" blade
9.25" OAL
engine-turned liners
fluted ivory backspacer
filework on base of blade

Paid slightly off rack-rate for it, but worth every penny.

Hmmm that's odd, your wife said you paid $100 for it? ;)

I got to handle that and WOW factor is high...I repeat WOW factor is High!

Very nice back spacer, lovely bolsters and perfect grinds, strong lock as well, all in all Outstanding, I was along side Michael, wiping his fevered brow as he worked it over in his racked mind of what to do and then ... well as they say, the rest is history! :)

Nice Michael very nice,
G2

ps if you ever need to move one of those damascus Dobruski butterflys...just email me and I'll help you out!

Classy! Very Classy!! I really like the way the ivory scales and backspacer line up. It creates nice sharp contrast. I also like the clean, simple overall design. A knife I wouldn't mind owning.

Gorgeous score Michael!!!!! that is a pure jacket and tie kind of folder, very elegant.

Enjoy;)

You bet it is worth every penny! I just picked up my ninth J.W. Smith folder today, a Liong Juggernaut and can say that JW Smith is one of the best when it comes to fit and finish! His knives are AWESOME. I have a two-off coming in a couple of months from JW that ought to be another masterpiece.

Michael you have one of the nicest Smith's I've laid eyes upon!:D  :)

That's a fantastic knife Michael...really nice. Gorgeous lines.., and one of the nicest folders I've seen lately...
