JW Smith Knives--Does anyone have a bunch of photos?

Hello,
I am in the process of trying to find a jW smith folder. I have seen a bunch but would like to see more. I have had a few emails regarding people selling, but I am still waiting for the right one for the right price.

If you have a bunch of photos or know where there is an online album please let me know.

His work just looks smooth. I cant wait to get one.

What type of folder (and pictures) are you looking for - tactical or damascus gents folder?

Art has traded or sold off more JW SMITH knives then probably the rest of us forum'ites combined. Do a search in the for sale forum and you will find a bunch of pictures of knives that Art used to own. A couple have good pictures of large groups together.

Thanks for the replys. I am looking for a tactical smith. I want to use it as an edc. I was very impressed by my first two custom folders that I want another.
I will look for Arts posts.

While it's true that Art has sold more Smiths than even Smith has made..., well, maybe not quite THAT many :), Art doesnt really "do" pictures, and so most of his for sale posts dont have any pictures, occasionally, someone else adds one to the thread, or he borrows one. Also, if you think JW's knives LOOK smooth, wait 'till you get to play with one, they are smooooooth!

His workmanship and materials, his attention to detail are as good as it gets, and remember, he also is well known for making $2,000, upscale knives as well. At $450, i think his tacticals represent one of the best values out there in a custom knife, especially if fit and finish is important to you. Whether you like his designs is, of course, subject to your tastes, but nobody can fault his workmanship, its as flawless as i have ever seen, and ive seen some much more expensive customs that werent nearly as smooth and well made as his relatively cheap tacticals.

So, in any case, i have taken it upon myself to hunt down a few pics from websites for your viewing pleasure...

I would like to see all of the stuff that is not to high end like up to the $600 range. I have seen pics and usually they dont have model names and the like. I would appreciate looking at as many as you cared to send. You can email me directly and load a few for the rest to see... whatever you want to do.

I am headed to the expo 03 on friday and hope to find something there I like. Most of the replies I have had regarding my search for a jw have been for the high end stuff.

I may have to call the man myself and see whats doin. That is why I wanted pics, so I knew what I was talking about when I called.

no problem..feel free to pass them along..I got them from various places on the net (dealers and fellow forumites)...unfortunately, I can't remember the sources of all of them..
