Very interesting knife. A real departure for JW Smith. The blade looks more like something you would see from Reese Weiland. Different, but very nice.

Edited because I meant Reese Weiland not Trace Rinaldi.

Great looking knife Underdog, you always find the good stuff. To confirm my belief, that is almost exactly like the knife that Mr. Terzuola has in his book. I alwys liked the looks of that knife. Nice grab:)

Nifrand, I like them both! I especially like the scimitar - but it looks like the handle could be a bit smaller? In the closed position where's the tip of the blade?

Thanks for the picture! Looks like the point would end just around the last scale
holding-in screw? That's a really good knife - I've never seen a folder with that profile, maybe I'll have to give JWS a holler one of these days and see if he'd be interested in making another.

You using it as an EDC? Just wondering about the practicality of it all.

Hey Keith,
Am I missing something here? I have seen a bunch of Tra's knives but never one this sharpe. Trace seems to be more of a choil recurve type of guy. Has he ever made any folders?
