JYD Blade Length

Hey, just trying to be on the safe side here. I bought a JYD for legal carry in Los Angeles and just to make sure, i measured the blade with 2 different rulers and both came out that the JYD is under 3" contradictory to the claims by Kershaw and everyone selling these. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks

I just measured my JYD and the blade length is 2 and 7/8 inches. So it should be alright. :thumbup:
