OK now I have seen all the ads I want one I think. Somebody out there has one I am sure. How do you like it? User or Safe Queen. I really like D2 so I think I want it for a user. Any comments? Threads I should see? I don't have search capabilities. Thanks in advance for any help.

Get one, you'll love it! Although I must admit I don't carry mine as much as I'd like to. I'm a little worried about messing it up, I think I just need to get a second one then I won't need to worry about it. I often end up carrying my regular JYD 2 instead. Awesome overall knife design. As far As larger folders go, I don't think I have one that fits in my hand any better than this one does. As far as the compostie blade, it just looks plane awesome. Every time I carry it someone asks me what kind of knife that is or how come the blade is like that, they really think it is awesome looking.

As far as edc'ing it if you get one, go for i! The D-2 should hold a great edge and I gaurantee you will love carrying it, from the compliments you'll get to how it feels in the hand it's really an enjoyable knife to carry.

Thanks Guys, manventureoutpost.com says they have two in stock for about $57.00. No one has said anything bad about that company yet so I think I will just go on and do it. I am EDC ing a BM 913D2 now and love the D2 edge holding. Anyone know of a better place/price?

Hi Mike. You can do a search using Google. Type in junkyard dog composite site:bladeforums.com and/or any other term; jyd II composite, junkyard dog, anything like that.

CheaperThanDirt has them listed for $61, i've ordered from them many times with no problems.

I've been considering this one ever since i got my Ener-G II, my first "real" Kershaw.
Looks to be a stellar knife (handled the original large one, didn't get to use it).
