Just bought one. I am on a frame lock frenzy it seems. Anyone know about this knife? As I understand it is like a san mai steel using 410 and S2 I believ it is called. Anyways any info is appreciated. Scored it cheap compared to b.m. and prices and even on ebay. keepem sharp and thanks

I have two. One user, one safe queen. The thing is damn near perfect. pops hairs like there is no tomorrow and has been that way for a while; have not needed to sharpen it yet.... feels good in the hand too.

You'll love the steel. I have the Blur in the SG2 and can't believe how well it holds up. It's part of the Super Gold Powder Steel (SGPS) family of steels made in Japan. Fallkniven uses the SG1 which is indistinguishable from the SG2 from my experience as is amazing as well. Doesn't seem to be as fragile as ZDP 189 is reputed to be so you'll get some wear and tear out of it that's for sure. Maintain the edge before it gets dull or you'll spend some time on the diamond stones getting the edge back.
