Someone feed me info on this knife if possible. Just won it on ebay and truthfully forgot about the bid because I purchased a RijBak over the weekend but got this one it pretty cheap considering what I have seen them going for. I have read stuff on the JYD II liner lock but not much on this one. S2 steel not real positive as to what it is. Anyways posted in the GF's too. keepem sharp

Do you mean SG2? If so, it's a great steel. Not only that, If it's a JYD II, I'm pretty sure that it only came with Ti handles, so depending on what "pretty cheap" is, I'd say you got a good deal. I have both the JYD II and the Blur in SG2, and they are both amazing slicers.
Hopefully, OregonEdge, Kneedeep or one of the other guys with way more knowledge than me (or maybe Thomas himself) will come into this thread and explain this steel better to you.

SG2 is an amazing steel.... within it's sweet spot it is probably the best there is
