I got this order the other day for a JYDII liner lock low rider clip. I am probably not going out on too much of a limb hoping that the clip that fits on my JYDII frame lock SG2 blade model will fit the liner lock 13C26 model since they use the same clip.
This knife is mine shown here since I don't have the customer's folder.
I figured since I'm showing his low rider that I may as well show my own mod to my own user as well. Seen here is an ambi thumb stud I put on it. I've had this thumb stud in my bin for ages. I believe its a Cold Steel stud from one of their folders (don't cringe too much there Thomas.
)
Anyway, you can note the tip up holes I drilled and threaded in my knife as well because my normal mode of carry for this one is tip up and I made my own pocket clip for that mode of carry which is a standard style non low riding type clip. I do admit though that the tip down mode of carry here is a very comfortable mode and this works quite well on this folder. Unlike other folders I've owned I have little trouble accepting this one in either mode of carry and find I like it just fine both ways. I must say I do enjoy this folder more with the thumb stud though. It needs that in my opinion.
I tried to stay with the signiture 'Kershaw sleek lines' by incorporating some of that in the new clip here. I hope I pulled it off. This one is ready to mail out first class when I hear back from the customer.
Thanks for looking.
