ok lets see....both new and old here...

first is a Jyen in 1/4" RWl-34 powdersteel at 60Rc and cryo treated. The tang is tapered down to a very thin end...only about 1/32 or so..looks really good...! Handle is carbon fiber handrubbed to a smooth finish. The sheath is a multiposition kydexsheath with a beltloop. Blade is 4.5" and overall is 9".

This is my version of a fixed blade Chineese folder...I just call it Chineese. The blade is 3.5" RWL-34 powdersteel at 60Rc and cryotreated. Overall lenght is 7.4". The knife has a kydexsheath set up so it can ride horizontal, vertical and at 45 degrees. The handlematerial is blue denim Fibermascus fitted with mosaic pins. The tang is tapered and the handle is very slim. Feels very good in the hand.

Take a look at my site for more pictures.

Thanks for looking.

That Jyen is impressive. I really like how the handle tapers. Awesome eye candy.

These knives ALWAYS give me pause. That Claw is talkin' to me....

Great work, Jens. :)

Good looking fixed blades. Excellent work.

Very interested in the Chinese.

Man those are nice. I really like the blade on that Jyen and the Chinese is plain outstanding all the way around. I would prefer a leather sheath, but that's just personal preference.

Wow... Those are great. There are so few grinders who bother to tapper tangs. This makes all the difference. I love the first one.

What is the grind on that? They're hollow ground?

ya they are hoolowground on a 10" wheel.....I really like how a tapered tang looks and makes for a very good balance...and it aint too difficult to do either....
