Can anyone provide an update or confirm the status of K&M Matchcases? About a year ago, I posted a notice that Keith was looking to sell the business after Marge passed. Then I read that the matchcases were no longer being made. Now, their website seems to be active and has a 2017 copyright at the bottom. Has anyone recently ordered from them?

Received an email from K&M. Here's what's up...

"Keith is no longer producing the match cases. I am his grandson, and have taken over the family business. I produced the match cases that we have in stock on his machine, under his supervision. Right now, I am only doing brass and I have short and long cases in stock. I normally have them shipped out within a day or two of receiving the order and with flat rate shipping via USPS, they arrive within three days. I plan to start doing aluminum cases again but at best, it will be a few months before I am able to do so." -Ben Lunders

What is a thread without a photo... :)

Never seen one before today but what a feeling reading about a Grandson taking over his Grandpa's business !!! :)

The compass has changed along the way. My matchcase (pictured above) is an earlier version with a Brunton compass - no longer made. Eventually, Keith switched to a Suunto (pictured below). Not sure what Ben is using now.
