Awhile back I posted asking about one-handed folders, particluarly Kershaw. At the time I was dazzled by the gizmo-effect of Assisted Opening.

Well, I calmed down, got over it, and bought a K.O. Vapor, plain edge, for only about 20 bucks. I am very pleased with the high quality, especially for a knife so inexpensive. The Vapor was hair shaving sharp right out of the box, which I have never experienced before. Also, if you flick the thumb stud the right way, the blade snaps open as quickly and easily as with Assisted opening. Thus, the gizmo infatuation is partially appeased!

This is a great knife, small enough for daily carry but big enough for other tasks. Thanks all, for the advice that steered me towards it.

I have a Chive, Leek, and the Vapor. I now would rather carry the Vapor because it only cost me $15 and if I break it "oh well!". I also like the vapor because it's a solid knife, opens quick, and doesn't have the "scare factor" when I pull it out to use it. AO knives around certain people is a no no!

Only 1 single problem, can't move the clip for tip up carry.
