The better part of me is being tempted by the hogue k320.
The issue I’m having is 5.1oz for the weight.

I have a copper pm2 that I don’t carry because it’s too heavy at I believe 6oz.
Any of you guys carry a pocket leach like this ?

I’m on the fence for the weight alone.

I typically pocket carry a 10oz fixed blade.

Never poses a problem.

In my opinion it might be due to the belt. Have you tried upgrading your belt to something more rigid?

I use a polymer spine reinforced leather gun belt. It looks like a regular dress belt, but is way thicker and extremely sturdy. My gun/light/mag weigh about 4lb and I wear them everyday, and the belt doesn’t sag at all. So when I put my knife in my pocket, it doesn’t present any problems.

Thank you. My mistake the pm2 with copper is just under 8oz.
The cf model is nice but i’de rather stay away from the nice price attachment.

To the belt I don’t usually wear a belt. Just not a preference for my day to day. Thank you for the advice.

I answered my own question. The manix 2 is 5 oz, .1 oz more is no big deal.
I find that weight fine, I wasn’t correct on my assumption of weight on the pm2 copper scales.

Oops

Desired weight is a personal preference , sometimes determined by how you carry and clothing. My preference is rather low( low 4's and often less) but many carry knives with considerably more weight and are just fine with it. So simple answer-only you can say if it is too heavy. There is no one weight fits all , just as there is no one blade length fits all.

I agree, 4oz is about my practical edc limit. I don't want to know it's there.

5oz isn't terrible, but most of my knives are under 4. My Spyderco Gayle Bradley and Manix 2 come in about that weight.
