If I did my trig right, the edge has an angle of about 9 degrees (inclusive)?! Should be a wicked slicer on items it doesn't bind or wedge in (carrots, potatoes and the like).
 
Great design!
I really like it, only I wish it could be a tad bigger: the blade by a quarter of inch and the handle by a half inch; and I'd also prefer a rounded drop-point belly (kinda Izula).

But I really love the handle form, the blade width, the distal taper, and the flat thin grind!

I'll be looking forward to follow-ups on the design.
 
That model is discontinued for the time being....I may make another version eventually. But for now, all my Kardas are OOP.
