Ka-Bar 1211

Saw this on YouTube and found it quite interesting.

Of course that's an individual's honest perspective of the Classic American KA-BAR knife.
 
The USMC knife, either the one in the video above, or the kraton 1211 is a knife that has been around the block more than once. It continues to see use on the battlefield as both a combat and utility knife. A friend of mine who was a cav scout in Iraq swore by his KA-BAR. If you dig the aesthetics of the KA-BAR and its history, you can't go wrong. However, there are plenty of knives out there that don't have the same obligation to design to uphold, and therefore have quite a number of advantages over the classic KA-BAR.
