This GAW is gonna be real quick and easy, post your sheath-less Ka-Bar 1217. I will use random.org to pick the winner. I will pick the winner Dec. 25th, dead line to enter will be 6:00 pm California time. winner will be announced shortly after and ship out ASAP! ONE Entry per person and your post number is your entry number. The winner will get everything on the sheath minus the 1217. This GAW is for everybody who owns a 1217 or is planning on getting one. 3/8" Fire rod and tin are included in GAW

Very nice of you. Mine is not the exact 1217, but same size and shape. And have the actual 1217 on my short list to buy. Will add my pic to the post as soon as I get home from work. My little boy really wants a Ka-Bar with stacked leather handles. All these GAW's showing up make me want to dig through my stuff and find something cool to give away myself. This forum is simply loaded with amazing people.

One of my "original" 1217s, an early reproduction - I don't know exactly how old this one is, but I got it from a pawn shop in Norfolk back in 1987 for the extreme price of $12.00 plus tax.

Great give a way. Wow what a sheath!! Good luck to all who enter since I don't know how to post pics. I'm about as low tech as a good ole Ka Bar I guess, but I do enjoy the heck out looking at ya'lls pics :D

Wow please count me in, i'd love a new kabar sheath. I have been thinking about getting a new sheath for my Kabar as the original leather one is old and chewed up. Wonderful giveaway.
 
I have been wanting a new sheath to replace the old leather one. Looks like you put a lot of thought and care into that one.
