Ka-Bar 1246

I recently acquired this from a co-worker just cuz I liked it. I figured I could find some info about it. So far all I found was a couple of pics and a few sites that said it was made from either 1095, 1085 or even AUS-8. I doubt the AUS-8 claim. It is similar to the Cutlass only smaller. The sheath is a run of the mill leather deal. I posted a pic with my ESEE-5 for size comparison. Its a nifty little chopper and I was just wondering if any of the Ka-Bar/Becker experts have some accurate spec on this one. Thanks for lookin.
