Hey guys, I recently went to a Gun and Knofe show and picked me up a KA-BAR Acheron. I wanted a good quality fixed blade edc knife (which it is). But I thought it had a belt clip on it. I was wondering if there are any belt clips thats would work with it.

you might look at the tdi clip kbar offers,it is a belt/ boot clip that attaches to the sheath... havent seen that particular knife, but that clip fits several of their sheaths...
 
I was acually looking at the TDI. The Acheron is a pretty small knife, one guy said he had bought an Acheron and the TDI with it. But he didnt realize the Acheron is a neck knife. He didnt say if the clip fit or not. If I cant find one, Ill probaly end up buying the Becker Necker and the TDI. They said the TDI will with the Necker series.
 
The TDI clip is a square that attaches at the four corners. No way it will work with the Acheron sheath which is skinny and rectangular.

I don't have one, but from pictures it's got two little holes at one end... almost looks like a clip off a pocket folder might work if those holes are threaded. But if that even worked then the handle would hang down, so basically I think the answer is no.

I do have a Becker Necker and think its an awesome tool. You can't go wrong with that, and yes the TDI clip will work with its sheath.
 
Hey, man. Fellow acheron owner. The tdi clip is not compatible with the sheath. As it stands, we who love this knife have had to make do with what we have. They offer a steelbead chain for it, so that you can wear it how it was intended (around your neck), or, you can do what I did. Got any paracord? Well, if you do; a great idea is to wrap the sheath in a hook weave. It may not be a clip but if you do it right, you can fasten the working ends of the cord to damn near anything. My acheron is wrapped in exactly this manner and it works just as well as any clip will. Fasten the little bugger to your belt and you've got a quick draw edc from hell. Just thought you might like to know. Good luxk, bro.
