I found that there is a very good reason the BK2 is one of the most-reviewed knives on YouTube. It might not be perfect from the factory, but you get a lot for $70 that you can work with.
At its price, you won't be afraid to use and abuse it or experiment with different knife modification techniques (new grinds, handle mods, etc.). It is no $300 knife, but it is plenty capable.
I also show how easy it is to strop on the inside of a leather belt in a pinch. 9 pairs of strokes on my daily-wear Beltman belt brought the edge right back after quite a bit of chopping.
