I made this sheath for a customer recently, he sent the knife to me and I sent it all back after completion. The only bad part was sending the knife back!

I liked this knife and was thinking about adding it to my collection.
What do y'all think for a general all around user?

I like it but two straps for horizontal carry would add alot to the sheath. Also the knife comes with a BK13 2 inch little fixie as well-a piggyback style sheath would be sick for the combo.

great knife Robert
if your an old kabar fan there is much to like. Same steel, full tang and no blister handle that can be removed/modified, they have micarta scales you can order too.
Better for slicing and wood chopping with the flat grind than the kabar. The guard does not get in the way too much for kitchen/food prep.
Sheath is ok but you have that covered.
He should have sent you the little knife to piggyback with it and the firesteel, that would be a complete combo.

A little small & light for a chopper - I have a BK-9, KA-BAR Kukri Machete & an HI 15" Ganga RAM that all out chop it. In fact the BK-9 out chops it by quite a bit.

Apart from chopping it is a GREAT knife. Super strong & solid - no problems smacking the hell out of it on its spine with a baton! It is a pretty capable knife for most bush craft tasks.

There's a bunch of pics of my batoning on this thread:

After doing this my love for this knife increased!

I like my Beckers. Need to update my photos and add my 9 I got at PWYP last year. Not sure if I'm going to remove the coating off of it though as I've noticed a little bit of rust on my Crewman & 7.
