I find different info in several places, and no info in many. Can anyone with a KA-BAR 9 please mic it and tell me blade thickness?
Thanks,
Greg

Phew... I'm glad you didn't yell at me again to check the FAQ. :o
0.188" is what Tomar's site says.

Don't be offended, but if anyone could put a micrometer or caliper to one I'd really appreciate it. My old Camillus Campanion was advertised as 0.250"... right. Turned out to be 0.210".

Thanks,
Greg

READ THE FAQ :)

yeah, a lot of the older stuff WAS advertised at .250, but it's not. you can look at the actual printed official literature even. maybe with coating?

.21 is pretty close though ;)

good old slipstick math 2 places of accuracy was good enough for most architecture...

Phenominal! Thanks.
As much as everyone loves the KA-BAR BK-9 as a chopper, I bet that Camillus kicked butt with the additional 22 thousandths!

Thanks guys. That was more info than I asked for but it is what I needed.
