Ka-Bar Black Short or SOG Seal Pup Elite?

Its time I finally get a fixed blade. I've been looking at the (see there --->) Ka-Bar Short Black and the (see there --->) SOG Seal Pup Elite for a edc/self defense fixed blade. What are the pros and cons of each and which one would be more durable? I really like the seal pup but the ka-bar is nice too, Idk which is the best one.

I liked the SOG better after owning both.

I felt the handle on the KABAR was better suited to a youth or lady's hand size so I set it aside for my daughter.

IF you search the custom for sale and knifemaker fixed blade forum, you will find better made knives for about what you will spend on the SOG.

This is the route I took, I'm looking to get out of production knives and into knives that I commission or great deals on other hand made knives.

IF you go with the KABAR, I may be able to help with a great deal...as I'm having a JK Compact Combat made for my princess.
