I wanted to order a Ka-bar Serrated Tanto Knife online. The website said it wouldn't ship it to California. Then I found a regular Ka-Bar Black Tanto, and they apparently will ship it to CA. I am waiting to learn if that thing is illegal in CA or not before I do anything. I am still learning about knife laws. I mostly plan to keep it at home, can't afford a gun and need to keep it inside for that reason only. Anyway if anyone can give me a little help, I just don't want to get it snatched up on me. Thanks for reading, sorry if this has been asked before. I used the search option but couldn't find anything to answer that question.

I don't believe there is a specific law with regards to serrations. I dont understand why they wouldn't ship it. You may need to find another knife dealer. There are plenty of good ones around.

I would recommend www.toptexknives.com www.newgraham.com www.1sks.com

I've notice in the Brigade Quartermaster catalog they refuse to ship a number of knives to California that are perfectly legal to own here. Go figure

Best regards,
