I have 2 bear buckles but can only wear one of them. It's on my belt. The above 2 both have the belt hole tips (the part that sticks through the holes in the belt - don't know the real word for them) broken off and I don't know how to fix pewter. I have the broken-off tip for the dog-head buckle.
The only soldering I can do (have any experience at - read "not very much") is with silver soldering wires. I tried 1x and the tip broke off again with relatively little stress.
Someone gave me a long drawn out process about drilling with this and grinding with that and doing this that way. I would do just as well standing in the light of a new moon naked on the night of the summer solstice to following the weird set of things to do that he had.
Can't hurt to try Have to get some tomorrow. The last time I bought some was years ago and if I could even find the old tube, it's probably hard as a rock.
