Hi guys, any opinions on this knife. I know it's made in Taiwan but still is it of good quality??? it's still a Ka-bar...Thank's!!!

Don't have that one.
But my other Taiwan KaBars have been good knives for the money.

Thank's Knarfeng, I'm getting one this week...maybe I'll post my observations!!!

Looks like all the combat / fighting knife anyone would ever need. This is definitely one of the more interesting fixed blades introduced this year.

I know it was design as a fighter but I think it would be a not so bad bushcraft knife...I'm going out to the cabin this week-end and I'm gonna find out if I'm wrong...:)

For those of you who are interested by the knife here's a little review...I've got mine from Warriors and Wonders (Jay is super to deal with btw). First I've gotta say that I was a bit apprehensive by getting a knife made in Taiwan, but it's a Ka-Bar design by Bob Dozier so it can't be that bad...my first impression out of the box was, man that's a big knife for a fighter and quite heavy too especialy on the handle, but to me that was good news since I wanted it to be bushcraft oriented.

The knife is well made, I'm even gonna say very well made. The handle is very comfortable and offers a solid grip, maybe some will find it to be a bit bulky but for my medium to big hands it serves me well. I was nice to see that it was possible to have a close grip for more delicate work up to a machette chopper kind of grip to amplify it's chopping ability, by that I'm not saying that's it's born chopper but in need it can do the job. The grind on the blade is good, not perfectly even but for a knife in that category it's one of the best that I've seen. Out of the box it was hair popping sharp but at a wrong angle for the purpose I want it to be, still as a fighter it's ready to slice some...meat!!! I'm gonna reshape it and even gonna sharpen the front of the spine since it's quite thin, it's not gonna be that hard. As for the sheath it's very well made and pratical. That will be it for the moment, this week-end I'm going to the cabin and I gonna beat the crap out of this blade to see if I can rely on it...Cheers!!!
