Ka-bar Camp Knife

Hey guys, would this be a good all around knife??? I wanted a BK-7 but this one is less expensive and it's still a Ka-bar...Thank's!!!

:thumbup: I have one; great knife for the price. Beat the crap out of it; holds up fine.
I don't like recurves ref. sharpening; but this one's O.K. Get it..you won't be sorry.

Mine originally came with a crappy sheath. First thing I did was call Ka-bar up in NY and order a leather sheath for it. But, according to the link that you provided, it now comes standard with a leather sheath, so it looks like you'll be good to go. The leather sheath is nice.:thumbup: at least when I got mine a couple/ three years ago.

I don't have calipers, but according to the "el cheapo" wooden school ruler, that I use for all my precise measurements, it looks as though it's smack-dab in between 1/8 and 3/16 of an inch thick.

Looks like a useful knife to me, though I might choose just a little longer blade for a chopper. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think I've seen it priced lower than what I saw on your link.

That was the Ka-bar site DR.Mudd, I got it elsewhere for $89.00 CDN wich is $15.00 USD ...
