Ka-bar days at smoky mountain knife works this weekend

Starting about noon on Friday I will be hanging out at the Ka-Bar stand at SMKW..... If you are visiting Sevierville or the Smoky Mountains this weekend please drop by and say hi..... Free stuff and good deals will abound....... I do hope to see you there...... Friday, Saturday and till about two on Sunday or until my feet give out.....LOL.....

Man, would like to go to SMKW this weekend, haven't been in awhile, always enjoy going and it would have been good to chat a little. But alas, I'm taking my boys to Nashville this weekend for Monster Jam, bought tickets couple months ago.

Have a fun weekend, don't work too hard, may business be good, catch ya next time.
 
I would've come for sure (it's super close for me) but I'm halfway across the country on the way to CO for some hiking and camping. I'll catch you next time.
 
Ethan, would love to fly down and harass you for a while, give you a headache to take your mind off of your feet and all of that but too much stuff going on up her in God's country. I do hope to see you soon however.

Damn...why am I just now seeing this!?
I just happen to be 2hrs away in Bryson City this weekend. Now I gotta convenience my wife and daughter to a 5hour round trip on my birthday/fathers day! This could happen...doubt it, but... maybe.
 
NH.....too far away, sadly - tho I wish I could. Probably best, though.....my wallet would explosively implode, and I don't want to be responsible for that kinda carnage. Have fun.
 
SMKW should be experienced at least once, if not multiple times.
 
E - hope you had fun and by the time I type this are home, on THE chair, with your feet up and a cold beer or other libation at your side, chuckling to yourelf over some of the things you heard come out of children's mouths this weekend.
 
Just a quick note about the weekend.... Had a really good time meeting, greeting and talking blades.... Talked to some fine new people and had a chance to visit with some folks from years past......

The staff at Smoky is a constant delight...... They make it really fun to "work" the weekend...... I still cannot believe that "work" means meeting good people and talking blades and woods loafing!!!!!.......

My thanks to everyone I got a chance to talk to..... Y'all were great...

I made it a point to visit SMKW last year while driving through. Unbelievable place. A knife lovers paradise. The website doesn't do it justice.

Don't forget buds gun shop and the lodge factory outlet right next store. A guy can exhaust his fun money in those 3 spots real quick. "Unfortunately" I already spent all of it on Bourbon while passing through Kentucky.
 
I was lucky enough to show up there on Saturday and get to meet Mr. Becker himself. Sadly, I couldn't stay as long as I would have wanted but either way, it was fun.
