I have become a big fan of the 20 dollar Doziers. I have the 4064 and Im looking to get another but have a question about theses two.The 4066 spearpoint and the 4062 spearpoint hunter. What is the difference in the two blade shapes if any? And which one do you guys prefer? Thanks SGT

I have been carrying my brother's 4062 for a couple days now.

the blade's razor sharp, hollow ground, aus-8 IIRC. A very comfortable and ergonomic handle, and an all around lightweight knife. opens smoothly and locks up tight as a vault.

Pete ,do you have any info on the 4066 and the difference between the two?

Hmm, i been looking at the two of them and thier so close to the same thing i wonder too what difference there is to the slight shape change.

I have a 4065, love it, no stud, has the hole, same thing as Pete, very sharp and durable.

Maybe some one in the know can enlighten us all to the differences.

I found this on a vendors web site regarding the 4066...

"The 3" modified spear point blade is AUS-8 at 56-58 Rc., with a slight indention on the back of the blade that provides a secure place to put your thumb when using the knife"

The 4062 has a straight blade spine while the 4066 has an upswept thumb-ramp.

I just learned this myself :)
